Area Management
Add, edit and delete rooms, set arming modes, and manage peripherals for areas.
You can add, edit and delete the rooms, and set the arming mode for the rooms. You can also add peripherals for the areas.
Procedure
- Tap the alarm hub.
- Tap Area tab on the bottom of the screen.
- Tap
to add an area. Enter the name, upload the image or select an image, and then tap OK. - Tap the area to enter the peripheral management page of the area. Select a peripheral, and then tap
next to the peripheral.
- Select Device Details to view the peripheral information and configure the peripheral.
- Select Move to Other Areas. You can move the peripheral to another added area, or to a new created room.
- Select Delete to delete the peripheral.
- Tap an area, and then tap
next to the area name. You can add a new peripheral, edit the area information or delete the area. - You can configure the arming mode of the area. Tap the icon next to the area, and then select the mode.
- Tap
If the system integrity check function is enabled, you cannot arm successfully when the alarm hub is in AP mode. You also cannot arm successfully through the keyfob and keypad when the alarm hub is in AP mode.
